Kain Kiswah yang baharu akan diserahkan kepada Ketua Penjaga Baitullah Raja Salman Abdulaziz al-Saud pada 10 Zulhijah 1443H kemudian ditukar pada 1 Muharam 1444H.
MAKKAH: Kerajaan Arab Saudi akan menukar kain Kiswah Kaabah pada 1 Muharam 1444 Hijrah.
Pada tahun-tahun sebelum ini, penukaran kain Kiswah Kaabah dilakukan pada setiap 9 Zulhijah sewaktu dalam musim haji.
Presiden Umum Hal Ehwal Masjidil Haram dan Masjid Nabawi, Sheikh Dr Abdul Rahman Abdulaziz Al-Sudais berkata, kain Kiswah yang baharu akan diserahkan kepada Ketua Penjaga Baitullah Raja Salman Abdulaziz al-Saud pada 10 Zulhijah 1443H kemudian ditukar pada 1 Muharam 1444H.
“Pimpinan kerajaan ini proaktif dalam segala perkara dengan meningkatkan tahap perkhidmatan yang disediakan di dua masjid suci itu.
“Kerajaan ini juga mampu memberikan sepenuh perhatian terhadap Kaabah dengan menjaga, mengekalkan kesucian dan menggantikan kain Kiswah yang baru setiap tahun kerana kesuciannya yang besar kepada seluruh umat Islam,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan.
Dalam pada itu, Sheikh Al-Sudais berdoa agar Allah SWT memelihara Ketua Penjaga Baitullah serta menerima segala amalan tetamu haji dan selamat kembali ke tanah air masing-masing.—AlHijrah Online
