AMARAN RIBUT PETIR, HUJAN LEBAT DI 11 NEGERI, KL DAN PUTRAJAYA
KUALA LUMPUR: Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (MetMalaysia) mengeluarkan amaran ribut petir, hujan lebat dan angin kencang di 11 negeri, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur dan Putrajaya hingga 9 malam ini.
KUALA LUMPUR: Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (MetMalaysia) mengeluarkan amaran ribut petir, hujan lebat dan angin kencang di 11 negeri, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur dan Putrajaya hingga 9 malam ini.
Menerusi amaran cuaca yang dikeluarkan pada 5 petang, MetMalaysia memaklumkan negeri terlibat ialah Perlis, Kedah (Kubang Pasu, Pokok Sena, Padang Terap, Pendang, Sik, Baling, Kulim dan Bandar Baharu), Pulau Pinang dan Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang dan Selama, Manjung, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang dan Muallim).
Keadaan cuaca sama diramal berlaku di Selangor, Negeri Sembilan (Seremban, Port Dickson dan Rembau), Melaka, Johor (Tangkak, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai dan Johor Bahru) dan Pahang (Tanah Tinggi Cameron, Lipis dan Raub).
Di Sabah, kawasan terlibat ialah Pedalaman (Sipitang, Tenom, Beaufort dan Nabawan) dan Tawau manakala di Sarawak pula amaran itu melibatkan kawasan Kuching (Bau dan Kuching), Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Kapit (Belaga), Bintulu dan Miri.
Menurut MetMalaysia, amaran ribut petir ialah amaran jangka pendek yang sah dalam tempoh tidak melebihi enam jam untuk satu-satu keluaran.
Amaran dikeluarkan apabila terdapat tanda-tanda menunjukkan ribut petir dengan intensiti hujan melebihi 20 milimeter per jam (mm/jam) yang hampir atau dijangka berlaku melebihi sejam. — AlHijrah Online
