MALAYSIA BAKAL RAIH POTENSI PELABURAN INDUSTRI HALAL BERNILAI RM4 BILION DARI CHINA – AHMAD ZAHID
SHANGHAI: Malaysia bakal meraih manfaat potensi pelaburan baharu dari China dalam industri halal bernilai kira-kira RM4 bilion, kata Timbalan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

SHANGHAI: Malaysia bakal meraih manfaat potensi pelaburan baharu dari China dalam industri halal bernilai kira-kira RM4 bilion, kata Timbalan Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
Beliau berkata potensi pelaburan besar itu dicapai hasil pertemuan serta mesyuarat delegasi Malaysia bersama pemain industri halal dari China sempena Forum Perniagaan Halal Malaysia-China di sini, hari ini.
Ahmad Zahid berkata pelaburan berkenaan merangkumi pelbagai sektor termasuk perubatan herba, makanan dan minuman, vaksin, kosmetik dan farmaseutikal.
“Terdapat 40 syarikat (dari China) yang sangat serius untuk melabur di Malaysia, iaitu menurut perkiraan kita, ia bernilai RM4 bilion.
“Tentunya barang keluaran mereka menjadi keutamaan termasuklah makanan dan minuman. Terdapat juga (permintaan pelaburan berkaitan) kawalan farmaseutikal, kosmetik, vaksin serta bahan perubatan herba,” katanya kepada media Malaysia yang mengikuti lawatan kerja lima hari beliau ke China.
Terdahulu beliau menyampaikan ucapan khas pada forum yang dianjurkan Halal Development Corporation (HDC) yang turut disertai pemain industri dari Malaysia dan China. — AlHijrah Online
