Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (JAWI) telah memulakan siasatan berhubung tindakan seorang individu yang didakwa menghina Nabi Muhammad S.A.W di sebuah konvensyen baru-baru ini.

KUALA LUMPUR: Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (JAWI) telah memulakan siasatan berhubung tindakan seorang individu yang didakwa menghina Nabi Muhammad S.A.W di sebuah konvensyen baru-baru ini.
Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar berkata individu tersebut disiasat di bawah Akta 559 Akta Kesalahan Jenayah Syariah (Wilayah Wilayah Persekutuan) 1997.
“JPM meminta semua pihak untuk bertenang dan menyerahkan sepenuhnya perkara ini kepada pihak PDRM.
“Semua pihak perlu berhati-hati ketika menyampaikan ucapan terutamanya dalam perkara berkaitan kemuliaan Nabi Muhammad S.A.W.
“Selain itu, sebarang perkara yang boleh menimbulkan kontroversi juga perlu dielakkan,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Sebelum ini Ketua Polis Negara, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain memaklumkan polis juga telah membuka kertas siasatan berhubung kes itu.
Terdahulu, tular hantaran di Facebook berkenaan ucapan seorang pensyarah yang didakwa penuh dengan sindiran biadab.
Menurut hantaran di satu halaman Facebook itu, lelaki berkenaan didakwa turut melakonkan watak Rasulullah sambil membuat mimik wajah yang buruk. –AlHijrah Online
