REMAN 24 INDIVIDU TERMASUK PIMPINAN TERTINGGI GISBH DISAMBUNG TUJUH HARI
Tempoh reman terhadap 24 orang termasuk pimpinan tertinggi GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) disambung selama tujuh hari lagi bermula hari ini hingga 10 Okt bagi membantu siasatan mengikut Akta Antipemerdagangan Orang dan Antipenyeludupan Migran 2022 (ATIPSOM).
KUALA LUMPUR: Tempoh reman terhadap 24 orang termasuk pimpinan tertinggi GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISBH) disambung selama tujuh hari lagi bermula hari ini hingga 10 Okt bagi membantu siasatan mengikut Akta Antipemerdagangan Orang dan Antipenyeludupan Migran 2022 (ATIPSOM).
Ketua Polis Negara Tan Sri Razarudin Husain ketika dihubungi mengesahkan tindakan berkenaan terhadap “sasaran bernilai tinggi” yang berkaitan dengan kes GISBH itu.
Beliau berkata reman terhadap isteri seorang lagi pemimpin kanan GISBH turut disambung hingga esok.
Sebelum ini, Razarudin dilaporkan berkata pihaknya akan membuat permohonan menyambung reman terhadap 24 individu dikaitkan dengan GISBH termasuk pengurusan tertingginya bagi membantu siasatan kes di bawah ATIPSOM (Pindaan) 2022.
Sebelum ini, 24 individu termasuk pimpinan tertinggi syarikat itu telah direman dua kali masing-masing tujuh dan empat hari bagi membantu siasatan mengikut Seksyen 32(a) Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001, Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998 serta Seksyen 14 ATIPSOM (Pindaan) 2022 pada 19 Sept.
Mereka kemudian ditahan semula dan direman selama lima hari bermula Isnin lepas bersabit kertas siasatan kes buruh paksa mengikut Seksyen 12 ATIPSOM (Pindaan) 2022.
Razarudin dalam kenyataan semalam memaklumkan bahawa hingga kini secara keseluruhan sebanyak 93 ahli GISBH masih lagi direman polis manakala 34 individu lain ditahan dan disiasat di bawah Akta Kesalahan Keselamatan (Langkah-Langkah Khas) 2012 (SOSMA).–AlHijrah Online
