KUALA LUMPUR: Siasatan kes kanak-kanak autistik Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin masih diteruskan meskipun tiada perkembangan baharu ditemukan setakat ini.
Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay berkata polis tidak akan menghentikan siasatan sehingga petunjuk baharu diperoleh.
“Setakat ini, kami masih menjalankan siasatan, kita tidak pernah menghentikan siasatan kes ini. Jika ada perkembangan baharu yang boleh dikongsikan kami akan kongsi,” katanya mengulas perkembangan siasatan kes Zayn Rayyan yang kini genap sebulan.
Beliau ditemui pada Mesyuarat Jawatankuasa Pemandu Pelaksanaan Usahasama PDRM bersama Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia di Bukit Aman di sini hari ini.
Semalam, Ketua Polis Selangor Datuk Hussein Omar Khan dilaporkan berkata polis telah menerima maklum balas daripada Polis Antarabangsa berkaitan semakan pangkalan data berhubung beberapa maklumat yang diperoleh hasil siasatan setakat ini.
Menurutnya, maklum balas berkenaan hanya mengenai maklumat umum berkaitan kes itu.
Pada 5 Dis lepas, kanak-kanak berusia enam tahun itu dilaporkan hilang di Damansara Damai di sini, sebelum ditemukan meninggal dunia berhampiran aliran anak sungai, kira-kira 200 meter dari blok rumahnya di Apartment Idaman pada keesokannya.
Berikutan itu, hasil siasatan bedah siasat mendapati kanak-kanak itu dipercayai dibunuh apabila menemukan kesan kecederaan pada leher dan badan mangsa.–AlHijrah Online
