PUSAT PERLINDUNGAN PENDUDUK DI GAZA TERLALU PADAT – UNRWA

ISTANBUL: Agensi pelarian Palestin PBB pada Ahad berkata pusat perlindungan di Semenanjung Gaza kini “terlalu padat.”
Pengarah komunikasi Agensi Kerja dan Bantuan Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu bagi Pelarian Palestin (UNRWA) Juliette Touma berkata pihaknya tidak lagi mampu menerima kemasukan penduduk yang hilang tempat tinggal ke pusat perlindungannya, lapor Agensi Anadolu.
”Gaza tidak mempunyai infrastruktur awam untuk menyokong kemasukan besar orang awam yang kehilangan tempat tinggal, ramai penduduk kini tidur di jalanan,” katanya kepada ABC News.
Menurut pihak berkuasa kesihatan Gaza sekurang-kurangnya 22,835 rakyat Palestin terbunuh manakala 58,416 lagi cedera sejak Israel melancarkan serangan udara dan darat ke atas Gaza sejak 7 Okt lepas.
Serangan Israel telah menyebabkan Gaza hancur dengan 60 peratus infrastruktur wilayah itu rosak atau musnah dan hampir dua juta penduduk hilang tempat tinggal di tengah-tengah kekurangan makanan, air bersih dan ubat-ubatan.
Ramai pakar undang-undang antarabangsa menyifatkan tindakan Israel di Gaza sebagai jenayah perang atau pembunuhan beramai-ramai.
Negara-negara seperti Turkiye dan Afrika Selatan sedang berusaha untuk memfailkan tindakan undang-undang terhadap Israel di mahkamah antarabangsa.–AlHijrah Online
