JOHOR BHARU: Kerajaan negeri Johor membenarkan aktiviti ibadah korban sempena Hari Raya Aidiladha tahun ini dilaksanakan di masjid dan surau terpilih.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Hal Ehwal Agama Islam Negeri, Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid, berkata sebanyak 64 masjid dan 68 surau seluruh Johor telah mendapat permit dan digezetkan sebagai pusat aktiviti penyembelihan yang lengkap pada sambutan ibadah korban kali ini.
Tambahnya, bagi masjid dan surau yang tiada permit penyembelihan dan mahu melaksanakan ibadah itu, permohonan boleh dibuat.
“Masjid dan surau yang tiada permit penyembelihan boleh memohon dengan pejabat kadi dan dirujuk dengan Pejabat Jabatan Perkhidmatan Veterinar (JPV) dan mereka akan turun padang untuk melihat kesesuaian lokasi,” katanya dalam sidang media di Pusat Islam Iskandar Johor Bahru, Johor.
Ujar Mohd Fared mengikut Seksyen 51 Kaedah-Kaedah Binatang Kawalan Penyembelihan 2009, masjid dan surau boleh dikenakan denda sehingga RM10,000 dan peralatan serta daging sembelihan dirampas jika melakukan aktiviti penyembelihan tanpa kebenaran.
Dalam pada itu katanya aktiviti penyembelihan juga boleh dilaksanakan di 153 rumah penyembelihan yang berdaftar dengan JPV di seluruh negeri Johor.
Tahun lalu Johor hanya membenarkan ibadah korban di rumah penyembelihan berdaftar dengan JPV susulan pandemik COVID-19. – AlHijrah Online
