KUALA LUMPUR: Konflik Palestin-Israel di Gaza tidak akan menjejaskan persiapan Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) untuk terus menghantar jemaah haji bagi menunaikan Rukun Islam kelima itu musim depan.

KUALA LUMPUR: Konflik Palestin-Israel di Gaza tidak akan menjejaskan persiapan Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH) untuk terus menghantar jemaah haji bagi menunaikan Rukun Islam kelima itu musim depan.
Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar berkata TH telah melakukan persiapan seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya bagi menghantar 31,600 jemaah haji Malaysia tahun depan.
“Pada masa yang sama kita akan merujuk maklumat daripada Kementerian Luar Negeri dan Kementerian Haji dan Umrah Arab Saudi dalam urusan menghantar jemaah haji.
“Mereka (kementerian) ini akan menentukan arahan, panduan serta nasihat, dan TH akan mematuhinya bagi menjaga keselamatan jemaah haji Malaysia,” katanya kepada pemberita selepas majlis merakam penghargaan kepada jemaah haji musim haji 1444H di sini, hari ini.
Beliau berkata jika dilihat ketika ini juga ramai rakyat Malaysia menunaikan umrah seperti biasa, dan beliau yakin kerajaan Arab Saudi telah memikirkan segala aspek berkaitan keselamatan jemaah haji, yang menjadi keutamaan tinggi bagi mereka.
Pertempuran terkini di Palestin yang melibatkan Hamas, pihak berkuasa di Gaza, dan rejim Israel sejak 7 Okt telah mengakibatkan kehilangan ribuan nyawa. — AlHijrah Online
