SEPANG: Lelaki tular disyaki menghina agama Islam di media sosial baru-baru ini, telah ditahan reman selama empat hari bermula hari ini.
Ketua Polis Daerah Sepang ACP Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof berkata, suspek berusia 39 tahun direman sehingga Khamis di lokap Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Dang Wangi.
“Pagi tadi perintah reman dikeluarkan oleh Majistret Mahkamah Kuala Lumpur,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Semalam, polis menahan seorang lelaki berumur 39 tahun disyaki menghina agama Islam menerusi media sosial, di sebuah rumah di Puchong, kira-kira pukul 12.30 tengah hari.
Siasatan berhubung kes dijalankan oleh Unit Siasatan Jenayah Terkelas (USJT) Ibu Pejabat Polis Bukit Aman, mengikut Seksyen 298A Kanun Keseksaan serta Seksyen 233 Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998.
Terdahulu, tular video berdurasi 36 saat memaparkan seorang lelaki menghina Nabi Muhammad SAW, Allah SWT serta agama Islam, dan turut mencabar sebuah pertubuhan badan bukan kerajaan (NGO) untuk bersemuka dengannya.—AlHijrah Online
