KUALA LUMPUR: Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) mengambil serius laporan pegawainya yang terlibat dalam aktiviti parti politik.
Ketua Pengarah JAKIM, Datuk Hakimah Mohd Yusoff berkata beliau telah mengarahkan Jawatankuasa Tatatertib JAKIM untuk bertindak segera berpandukan kepada Peraturan-Peraturan Pegawai Awam (Kelakuan dan Tatatertib) 1993.
“JAKIM ingin merujuk isu tular di media sosial dan aduan yang melibatkan penyertaan pegawai JAKIM dalam aktiviti politik.
“Jabatan ini tidak akan teragak-agak untuk mengenakan tindakan tatatertib terhadap pegawai yang didapati melanggar sebarang peraturan ini,” katanya dalam kenyataan pada Rabu.
Semua warga kerja JAKIM dinasihatkan agar sentiasa mematuhi semua peraturan yang sedang berkuatkuasa dan tidak melakukan sebarang tindakan yang boleh menjejaskan integriti dan imej perkhidmatan awam. – AlHijrah Online
