LELAKI HINA ISLAM DIPENJARA KERANA GAGAL BAYAR DENDA RM50,000
SEPANG: Seorang penghantar makanan dipenjara enam bulan selepas gagal membayar denda RM50,000 yang dikenakan ke atasnya oleh Mahkamah Sesyen Sepang kerana memuat naik kandungan video menghina agama Islam.

Berdasarkan laporan media tempatan, perkara itu disahkan oleh Ketua Polis Daerah Sepang, Asisten Komisioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof.
Tertuduh Mohd Nor’ Muzil Mohd Razalli, 39, dilapor akan menjalani hukuman di Penjara Kajang.
Hari ini, Hakim Ahmad Rizki Abdul Jalil menjatuhkan hukuman denda terhadap Mohd Nor’ Muzil selepas dia mengaku bersalah memuat naik kandungan video menghina agama Islam di saluran media sosial YouTube miliknya pada Sabtu lepas (16 Julai).
Dia didakwa mengikut Seksyen 233 (1)(a) Akta Komunikasi dan Multimedia 1998 (Akta 588) dan boleh dihukum di bawah Subseksyen 233(3) akta sama.
Kesalahan itu memperuntukkan hukuman denda maksimum RM50,000 atau dipenjarakan tidak melebihi setahun atau kedua-duanya dan boleh didenda RM1,000 bagi setiap hari kesalahan itu diteruskan selepas pensabitan.
Hakim juga telah memaklumkan Mohd Nor’ Muzil perlu menjalani hukuman penjara enam bulan sekiranya gagal membayar denda.
Tertuduh ditahan pada 17 Julai lepas untuk direman empat hari bagi membantu polis melengkapkan siasatan berhubung kandungan video terbabit yang tular di media sosial. – AlHijrah Online
