PELITUP MUKA TIDAK LAGI WAJIB DI MASJID DAN SURAU DI WILAYAH PERSEKUTUAN
KUALA LUMPUR: Pemakaian pelitup muka tidak lagi diwajibkan di dalam masjid dan surau seluruh Wilayah-Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya dan Labuan.

Pengarah Jabatan Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan (JAWI) Datuk Mohd Ajib Ismail berkata arahan itu berkuat kuasa mulai 30 September 2022 (Jumaat).
“Walau bagaimanapun, pemakaian pelitup muka di dalam masjid dan surau masih digalakkan.
“Manakala individu bergejala seperti demam, batuk dan selesema serta mereka yang berisiko tinggi seperti warga tua serta kanak-kanak amat digalakkan untuk memakai pelitup muka.
“Marilah kita semua berusaha untuk mengimarahkan masjid dan surau pada setiap masa bersama-sama ahli keluarga dan jiran tetangga agar kesejahteraan masyarakat dan negara dapat dibina,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Menurut Mohd Ajib, arahan terbaharu itu telah diperkenan oleh Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah serta selaras dengan ketetapan terkini kerajaan berkaitan kelonggaran Prosedur Operasi Standrad (SOP) pencegahan COVID-19. – AlHijrah Online
