KUALA LUMPUR: Kepercayaan kepada reinkarnasi atau perpindahan roh merupakan tiada asas dalam agama selain bercanggah dengan ajaran Islam.
Pendakwah, Engku Ahmad Fadzil Engku Ali berkata, berdasarkan ajaran Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah (ASWJ), kepercayaan tersebut boleh menyebabkan seseorang terkeluar dari agama Islam dan perlu bertaubat.
“Dari segi hukum, orang yang percaya bahawa roh itu boleh berpindah dari satu jasad ke satu jasad, maka paling tidak hukumnya haram, berdosa kalau berakidah demikian.
“Tetapi kalau kepercayaan itu melarat kepada dia membayangkan itu sentiasa berlaku, maknanya tidak berlaku kebangkitan, tidak berlaku soal munkar dan nakir, jadi tidak berlaku hari kiamat kerana roh sentiasa berpindah.
“Kalau sampai ke tahap itu, bukan sahaja haram bahkan membawa kepada kufur,” katanya.
Jelasnya, jumhur ulama ASWJ telah menolak kepercayaan reinkarnasi atau perpindahan roh walaupun ia dipegang oleh sebahagian fahaman dalam mazhab syiah.
