CHILE SERTAI TUNTUTAN MAHKAMAH AFRIKA SELATAN TERHADAP ISRAEL DI ICJ
Chile telah memutuskan untuk menyokong dan menyertai tuntutan yang difailkan oleh Afrika Selatan di Mahkamah Keadilan Antarabangsa di bawah Konvensyen mengenai Pencegahan dan Hukuman Jenayah Genosid.
RAMALLAH: Presiden Chile Gabriel Boric pada Sabtu mengumumkan bahawa negaranya akan menyertai Afrika Selatan dalam tuntutan mahkamah terhadap Israel di Mahkamah Keadilan Antarabangsa (ICJ), lapor Agensi Berita Palestin (WAFA).
Dalam ucapan kepada Kongres, Boric berkata: “Chile telah memutuskan untuk menyokong dan menyertai tuntutan yang difailkan oleh Afrika Selatan di Mahkamah Keadilan Antarabangsa di bawah Konvensyen mengenai Pencegahan dan Hukuman Jenayah Genosid.
Pada 29 Dis 2023, Afrika Selatan memfailkan kes terhadap Israel, memetik penglibatannya dalam “tindakan genosid” terhadap rakyat Palestin di Gaza, satu langkah yang disokong oleh puluhan negara, menandakan duluan bersejarah dalam konflik Palestin-Israel.–AlHijrah Online
