Kejadian kira-kira jam 2.30 pagi itu sempat dirakam kamera papan pemuka kenderaan pacuan empat roda yang dinaiki dua pegawai Tentera Laut Diraja Malaysia (TLDM) Lumut, Perak.
Ketua Polis Daerah Seremban ACP Nanda Maarof berkata, kedua-dua mangsa terlibat dalam kemalangan itu mengalami kecederaan ringan.
“Dua pegawai tentera laut itu dalam perjalanan pulang ke Kem TLDM Lumut, Perak dari Kulai, Johor.
“Sebaik tiba di lokasi kejadian, kenderaan pacuan empat roda model Ford Ranger dinaiki dua lelaki itu terlanggar seekor lembu yang muncul mendadak di lorong kanan lebuh raya,” katanya.
Nanda berkata, akibat kemalangan kenderaan dipandu pegawai berusia 39 tahun itu berpusing dan terhenti di lorong kiri.
“Pemandu dan seorang penumpang lelaki berusia 42 tahun mengalami kecederaan ringan. Ketika kejadian jalan gelap dan lancar,” katanya.
Sebelum ini tular di media sosial sebuah video menunjukkan rakaman kamera papan pemuka (dash cam) memaparkan sebuah kenderaan merempuh seekor lembu yang muncul mendadak di tengah jalan raya.—AlHijrah Online
