DUA PENGARAH EMRAZ SAKIT, MAHKAMAH TETAPKAN 13 FEB PROSIDING PENDAKWAAN
Mahkamah Majistret Kota Bharu menetapkan 13 Feb depan sebagai tarikh baharu prosiding pendakwaan terhadap syarikat pengendali umrah Emraz Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd dan dua pengarahnya yang sepatutnya dijalankan hari ini.
KOTA BHARU: Mahkamah Majistret di sini menetapkan 13 Feb depan sebagai tarikh baharu prosiding pendakwaan terhadap syarikat pengendali umrah Emraz Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd dan dua pengarahnya yang sepatutnya dijalankan hari ini.
Majistret Ahmad Syafiq Aizat Nazri menetapkan tarikh itu selepas dimaklumkan bahawa dua pengarah syarikat berkenaan iaitu Datuk Zulkarnain Endut, 43, dan Datin Mazuin Mustafa, 43, sebagai orang kena saman (OKS) tidak hadir di mahkamah hari ini kerana cuti sakit.
Emraz Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd, Zulkarnain dan Mazuin, berdepan 51 pertuduhan berkaitan kes penipuan pakej umrah sebanyak RM503,221.
Peguam Ahmad Nizam Mohamed yang mewakili pasangan OKS terbabit memaklumkan kepada mahkamah, kedua-dua anak guamnya tidak dapat hadir kerana cuti sakit.
Pendakwaan yang dikendalikan Timbalan Pendakwa Raya Mohd Sophian Zakaria, Suhana Mohd dan Shafiq Mahadi Kemudian memohon satu tarikh baharu untuk prosiding pendakwaan kes itu.
Mohd Sophian memberitahu mahkamah bahawa pihaknya hanya dimaklumkan kedua-dua OKS itu tidak hadir kerana cuti sakit, pagi ini.
“Disebabkan kes ini membabitkan kepentingan awam dan mangsa yang ramai, kita mohon tarikh baharu dalam tempoh yang singkat.
“Kedua-dua OKS sepatutnya berdepan 51 pertuduhan hari ini membabitkan kerugian ratusan ribu ringgit. Malah baru-baru ini mereka sudah didakwa atas 63 pertuduhan bagi kesalahan yang sama di Putrajaya,” katanya.
Mahkamah menetapkan 13 Feb sebagai tarikh baharu dan kesemua pertuduhan akan dijalankan secara serentak.–AlHijrah Online
