Keluarga mangsa insiden tanah jerlus di Jalan Masjid India pulang ke India malam tadi selepas operasi mencari dan menyelamat (SAR) dihentikan dan memasuki fasa search and recovery, Sabtu lepas.

Ketua Polis Daerah Dang Wangi ACP Sulizme Affendy Sulaiman berkata suami dan anak lelaki mangsa bertolak pulang ke tanah air mereka menerusi Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KLIA).
“Ya, mereka telah bertolak pulang malam tadi,” katanya ringkas ketika dihubungi.
Media semalam melaporkan suami dan dua anak mangsa dilihat hadir menyalakan lampu minyak dan membunyikan loceng iaitu upacara keagamaan agama Hindu di lokasi insiden berkenaan.
Sepanjang operasi SAR, keluarga mangsa terutama anak lelakinya, M.Suria, 25, dilihat kerap berada di khemah SAR bagi mengikuti dan mendapatkan maklumat operasi pencarian ibunya oleh pasukan penyelamat.
Terdahulu, Bernama melaporkan Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia telah melanjutkan visa empat ahli keluarga mangsa iaitu suami, anak dan dua ahli keluarga mangsa yang lain dan Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) membantu keperluan mereka sepanjang operasi pencarian dilakukan.
Pada Sabtu, Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Wilayah Persekutuan) Dr Zaliha Mustafa mengumumkan operasi SAR wanita warga India, G. Vijaya Lakshmi, 48, yang hilang akibat terjatuh ke dalam lubang sedalam lapan meter di Jalan Masjid India pada 23 Ogos lepas dihentikan selepas sembilan hari dilaksanakan.–AlHijrah Online
