KESEMUA 30 RAKYAT MALAYSIA YANG TERKANDAS DI SUDAN BERLEPAS KE JEDDAH
PUTRAJAYA: Kesemua 30 rakyat Malaysia yang terkandas di ibu negara Sudan Khartoum, selamat meninggalkan Port Sudan ke Jeddah Arab Saudi awal hari ini (waktu Sudan).

PUTRAJAYA: Kesemua 30 rakyat Malaysia yang terkandas di ibu negara Sudan Khartoum, selamat meninggalkan Port Sudan ke Jeddah Arab Saudi awal hari ini (waktu Sudan).
Kementerian Luar Malaysia (Wisma Putra) berkata semua rakyat Malaysia meninggalkan pelabuhan itu dengan menaiki kapal tentera laut Arab Saudi, selepas menempuh perjalanan yang sukar selama 30 jam melalui darat bermula dari Khartoum.
“Perjalanan merentasi Laut Merah dijangka mengambil masa sekurang-kurangnya 12 jam,” katanya dalam ciapan tweet hari ini.
Wisma Putra turut merakamkan penghargaan ikhlas kepada Kerajaan Arab Saudi dan UAE kerana menjayakan pemindahan itu.
Kenyataan itu menyebut bahawa atas semangat belas kasihan, Malaysia turut membantu warga Kemboja, Palestin, Filipina, Singapura, Sudan, Thailand, dan Amerika Syarikat meninggalkan Sudan dengan selamat di bawah pengawasan rapi dan usaha operasi pemindahan Malaysia.
Setakat ini, lebih 400 orang dilaporkan terbunuh dan lebih 3,500 cedera sejak konflik bersenjata antara Angkatan Tentera Sudan dan pasukan separa tentera Rapid Support Forces (RSF) tercetus pada 15 April lalu. — AlHijrah Online
