POLIS PERAK KENAL PASTI 21 KAWASAN “BLACKSPOT” KEMALANGAN
Pemangku Ketua Polis Perak DCP Zulkafli Sariaat berkata antara lokasi itu ialah KM114-KM117 Jalan Ipoh–Butterworth, KM17.5 Jalan Ipoh–Kuala Lumpur (Lubuk Buaya), KM1 Jalan Teluk Intan–Bidor serta KM16 Jalan Teluk Intan–Hutan Melintang.
TAIPING: Polis Perak mengenal pasti 21 lokasi blackspot atau kawasan sering berlaku kemalangan ketika musim perayaan bersempena dengan sambutan Tahun Baharu Cina.
Pemangku Ketua Polis Perak DCP Zulkafli Sariaat berkata antara lokasi itu ialah KM114-KM117 Jalan Ipoh–Butterworth, KM17.5 Jalan Ipoh–Kuala Lumpur (Lubuk Buaya), KM1 Jalan Teluk Intan–Bidor serta KM16 Jalan Teluk Intan–Hutan Melintang.
Selain itu, polis juga mengenal pasti 43 kawasan hotspot yang kerap berlaku kesesakan jalan raya disebabkan pertambahan kenderaan semasa musim perayaan.
“Antara laluan yang dikenal pasti ialah lampu isyarat Plaza Tol Slim River, KM73 Jalan Teluk Muroh–Sungai Wangi, iaitu berhampiran lampu isyarat Kampung Lumut Kiri, Jalan Ipoh–Kuala Lumpur (Plaza Tol Gopeng) dan Pekan Selama,” katanya.
Zulkafli berkata demikian pada sidang media selepas merasmikan Kempen Kawalan Keselamatan Jalan Raya bersempena dengan Tahun Baharu Cina 2025 peringkat Polis Kontinjen Perak di Plaza Tol Taiping Selatan, Lebuh Raya Pesisiran Pantai Barat (WCE) di sini hari ini.
Beliau berkata sebanyak 250 pegawai dan anggota ditugaskan sepanjang Op Selamat 23 yang bermula pada 28 Jan hingga 2 Feb ini bagi memastikan kelancaran lalu lintas dan keselamatan pengguna jalan raya semasa musim perayaan ini.
Zulkafli berkata terdapat enam kesalahan trafik dikenal pasti menjadi penyumbang kepada kemalangan jalan raya pada musim perayaan, iaitu memandu melebihi had laju, memandu di lorong kecemasan, memotong di garisan berkembar, memotong barisan, tidak mematuhi lampu isyarat dan menggunakan alat telekomunikasi semasa memandu. –AlHijrah Online
