TIADA RAKYAT MALAYSIA TERLIBAT KEJADIAN LETUPAN GUDANG MERCUN DI NARATHIWAT
Kementerian Luar melalui Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Songkhla mengesahkan tiada rakyat Malaysia setakat ini dilaporkan terlibat dalam insiden letupan gudang mercun di Mukim Mundok, Daerah Sungai Golok, Wilayah Narathiwat, Thailand, semalam.
KUALA LUMPUR: Kementerian Luar melalui Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Songkhla mengesahkan tiada rakyat Malaysia setakat ini dilaporkan terlibat dalam insiden letupan gudang mercun di Mukim Mundok, Daerah Sungai Golok, Wilayah Narathiwat, Thailand, semalam.
Kementerian Luar dalam kenyataan malam ini memaklumkan berdasarkan laporan awal, letupan itu berlaku di gudang penyimpanan bunga api dan mercun yang telah menyebabkan sembilan kematian dan 114 orang mengalami kecederaan.
“Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Songkhla sedang berhubung rapat dengan pihak berkuasa tempatan untuk mendapatkan perkembangan terkini mengenai insiden tersebut.
“Rakyat Malaysia yang memerlukan sebarang bantuan konsular boleh menghubungi Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Songkhla di talian +6674311062 atau +66936570707 (untuk kecemasan) atau melalui e-mel mwsongkhla@kln.gov.my dan sebarang perkembangan terkini mengenai insiden ini akan dimaklumkan dari semasa ke semasa,” menurut kenyataan itu.
Terdahulu Gabenor Narathiwat Sanan Pongaksorn dilaporkan berkata letupan pada 3.30 petang (waktu tempatan) itu berlaku di Pasar Mundok, destinasi beli-belah popular bagi rakyat Malaysia.–AlHijrah Online
