BAITULMAQDIS: Tentera rejim telah berundur dari bandar Khan Younis di selatan Semenanjung Gaza, menurut laporan media Israel pada Ahad.
“Divisyen ke-98 dengan tiga brigednya, berundur dari Khan Younis malam tadi selepas tamat operasi di sana susulan pertempuran yang berlangsung selama empat bulan,” lapor Agensi Anadolu memetik Radio Tentera Israel.
Radio Tentera Israel berkata hanya ada satu briged yang tinggal di Gaza iaitu Nahal Brigade yang bertanggungjawab untuk mengawal koridor yang ditubuhkan oleh tentera Israel untuk menghalang penduduk Gaza daripada kembali ke utara wilayah itu.
Sementara itu, sumber Palestin memaklumkan bahawa tentera Israel berundur dari semua kawasan barat bandar Khan Younis sementara pasukan itu kekal ditempatkan di timur bandar berkenaan.
Menurut penyiar awam Israel KAN, tentera rejim berundur dari Semenanjung Gaza kecuali mereka yang berada di Bandaraya Gaza untuk menghalang kepulangan rakyat Palestin ke utara.
Operasi darat tentera Israel bermula di Khan Younis pada 3 Dis dengan tujuan untuk menyelamatkan tebusan Israel yang ditahan oleh Hamas.
Bagaimanapun berdasarkan dakwaan tentera, tentera penceroboh meninggalkan bandar itu tanpa mencapai matlamatnya. — AlHijah Online
