ANKARA: Arab Saudi dan kebanyakan negara Arab akan menyambut Aidilfitri pada Isnin, menandakan berakhirnya bulan Ramadan bagi umat Islam.
Dalam satu kenyataan, Istana Diraja Saudi berkata anak bulan Syawal, bulan ke-10 dalam kalendar Islam, tidak kelihatan pada Sabtu (30 April).
“Oleh itu, Ahad, 1 Mei akan menjadi hari terakhir Ramadan dan Aidilfitri akan disambut pada Isnin, 2 Mei,” lapor Agensi Anadolu memetik kenyataan itu.
Pihak berkuasa agama di Qatar, Emiriah Arab Bersatu, Kuwait, Bahrain dan Yaman turut mengumumkan Aidilfitri pada Isnin.
Hari Raya Aidilfitri juga akan disambut pada Isnin di Mesir, Sudan, Libya, Lubnan, Syria dan Palestin.
Umat Islam Sunni di Iraq juga akan menyambut permulaan Aidilfitri pada hari yang sama.
Sementara itu, kumpulan Syiah di Oman, Jordan dan Iraq akan melihat anak bulan Syawal pada Ahad untuk menentukan permulaan Aidilfitri. –AlHijrah Online
