KELANTAN TIDAK PERNAH LULUS LESEN JUAL VAPE – EXCO
Kerajaan Kelantan melalui pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) tidak pernah meluluskan sebarang lesen perniagaan kepada premis penjualan rokok elektronik atau vape.
KOTA BHARU: Kerajaan Kelantan melalui pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) tidak pernah meluluskan sebarang lesen perniagaan kepada premis penjualan rokok elektronik atau vape.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Kerajaan Tempatan, Perumahan, Kesihatan dan Alam Sekitar negeri Hilmi Abdullah berkata tindakan rondaan dan penguatkuasaan oleh PBT, sentiasa dijalankan bagi membanteras aktiviti penjualan serta pengiklanan vape di Kelantan.
“Selain itu, Akta Kawalan Produk Merokok Demi Kesihatan Awam 2024 (Akta 852) jelas mengawal dengan lebih ketat kegiatan penjualan, pengiklanan dan tempat merokok semua jenis produk termasuk vape,” katanya pada persidangan Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) di Kompleks Kota Darulnaim di sini hari ini.
Hilmi berkata demikian bagi menjawab soalan Nik Bahrum Nik Abdullah (PAS-Chempaka) mengenai langkah perlu diambil bagi menangani isu kedai nanostix dan vape, yang masih banyak beroperasi di kawasan kawalan PBT.
Beliau berkata pada tahun lepas, 40 operasi vape dilaksanakan selain menyita 67 premis.
“Sehingga Mac tahun ini, sebanyak 10 operasi dilaksanakan dan 16 premis disita. Kita mohon semua pihak di Kelantan tidak terlibat dengan sebarang aktiviti berkaitan vape,” katanya.–AlHijrah Online
