TIGA ANGGOTA POLIS DITAHAN CURI RM85,000 SEMASA OPERASI DI JALAN SILANG
“Pada 12.36 tengah malam Jumaat lepas, polis menerima laporan tentang kehilangan wang tunai berjumlah RM85,000 di sebuah premis perniagaan di Lebuh Pudu di sini, semasa operasi bersepadu membanteras warga asing yang dijalankan oleh pihak berkuasa.”
KUALA LUMPUR: Tiga anggota polis dipercayai daripada Pasukan Gerakan Am Briged Tengah ditahan selepas disyaki mencuri wang berjumlah RM85,000 daripada sebuah premis perniagaan semasa menjalankan operasi bersepadu di Jalan Silang, Khamis lepas.
Ketua Polis Kuala Lumpur Datuk Allaudeen Abdul Majid berkata ketiga-tiga anggota yang berumur 26, 30 dan 35 tahun itu direman selama empat hari bermula semalam bagi membantu siasatan mengikut Seksyen 380 Kanun Keseksaan.
“Pada 12.36 tengah malam Jumaat lepas, polis menerima laporan tentang kehilangan wang tunai berjumlah RM85,000 di sebuah premis perniagaan di Lebuh Pudu di sini, semasa operasi bersepadu membanteras warga asing yang dijalankan oleh pihak berkuasa.
“Kes ini masih dalam siasatan dan orang awam diminta tidak membuat sebarang spekulasi yang boleh mengganggu siasatan dan menimbulkan kegusaran awam,” katanya dalam kenyataan di sini hari ini.
Bernama difahamkan ketiga-tiga anggota terbabit dirakam melakukan penggeledahan di premis berkenaan oleh kamera litar tertutup (CCTV) yang dipasang, bagaimanapun tidak memasukkannya dalam laporan.
Hasil penahanan itu, difahamkan polis turut merampas wang tunai RM63,500, sebuah kereta Perodua Myvi, dua telefon bimbit dan resit pembayaran bagi pembelian tayar dan penyelenggaraan kenderaan.
Dalam operasi bersepadu di Jalan Silang bermula 11 pagi hingga 3 petang itu, sebanyak 1,101 warga asing ditahan kerana melakukan pelbagai kesalahan imigresen antaranya tiada dokumen perjalanan. –AlHijrah Online
