TRAGEDI BAS: POLIS AKAN MOHON PERINTAH REMAN PEMANDU BAS UNTUK BANTU SIASATAN – NOOR HISAM
Polis akan memohon perintah reman terhadap pemandu bas yang terlibat dalam kemalangan ngeri mengorban nyawa 15 pelajar UPSI awal pagi Isnin bagi membantu siasatan, apabila pemandu itu dibenarkan keluar dari hospital nanti.
IPOH: Polis akan memohon perintah reman terhadap pemandu bas yang terlibat dalam kemalangan ngeri mengorbankan nyawa 15 pelajar Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) awal pagi semalam bagi membantu siasatan, apabila pemandu itu dibenarkan keluar dari hospital nanti.
Ketua Polis Perak Datuk Noor Hisam Nordin berkata ketika ini pemandu berumur 40 tahun itu masih dirawat, dan sampel darah serta ujian air kencing lelaki tersebut sudahpun dihantar ke Jabatan Kimia untuk tindakan lanjut.
“Sekarang ini dia (pemandu bas) masih menerima rawatan di Hospital Taiping, jadi kita tunggu dulu. Kalau dia sudah discharge, baru kita nak reman dia,” katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama hari ini.
Dalam kejadian awal pagi semalam 15 penuntut UPSI maut apabila bas yang dinaiki mereka terbalik dalam kemalangan di KM53, Jalan Raya Timur-Barat (JRTB), berhampiran Tasik Banding, Gerik.
Bas yang disewa khas oleh pelajar itu berlepas dari Jertih, Terengganu pada 9 malam Ahad dan sedang dalam perjalanan ke kampus universiti berkenaan di Tanjung Malim, Perak sebelum terlibat dalam kemalangan tersebut.
Noor Hisam berkata 13 jenazah yang dibedah siasat di Jabatan Forensik Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh semalam kesemuanya tiba di Masjid Hadhari, Jertih, Terengganu kira-kira 3 pagi tadi. —AlHijrah Online
