KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah berkenan berangkat melakukan kunjungan hormat dan pertemuan dengan Emir Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani di Doha, Qatar semalam.
KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah berkenan berangkat melakukan kunjungan hormat dan pertemuan dengan Emir Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani di Doha, Qatar semalam.
Pada pertemuan itu, Seri Paduka menzahirkan ucapan setinggi-tinggi tahniah kepada Sheikh Tamim dan kerajaan Qatar sebagai tuan rumah, atas kejayaan menganjur dan mengendalikan kejohanan bola sepak Piala Dunia FIFA Qatar 2022.
“Kedua-dua pemimpin turut menyentuh berkenaan hubungan dua hala yang baik antara Malaysia dan Qatar, usaha-usaha untuk mempertingkatkan lagi hubungan serta beberapa isu membabitkan kepentingan bersama,” menurut kenyataan Istana Negara di Facebook hari ini.
Al-Sultan Abdullah kini berada di Doha atas persilaan peribadi Sheikh Tamim sempena Piala Dunia FIFA Qatar 2022.
Dalam rangka lawatan khas selama enam hari bermula semalam, Seri Paduka turut dijadualkan menerima menghadap beberapa pemimpin kerajaan Qatar dan berangkat menghadiri majlis santapan bersama rakyat Malaysia di Qatar.
Al-Sultan Abdullah dijadualkan berangkat tiba di tanah air pada 19 Dis ini. — AlHijrah Online
