AGONG LAWAT PUSAT RAMALAN DAN AMARAN BANJIR NEGARA
Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah berkenan berangkat ke sesi sembah taklimat persiapan menghadapi bencana dan banjir di Pusat Ramalan dan Amaran Banjir Negara (PRABN), Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) di Ampang di sini hari ini.
KUALA LUMPUR: Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah berkenan berangkat ke sesi sembah taklimat persiapan menghadapi bencana dan banjir di Pusat Ramalan dan Amaran Banjir Negara (PRABN), Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) di Ampang di sini hari ini.
Sembah taklimat secara tertutup atas titah Seri Paduka itu bagi mengetahui kesiapsiagaan agensi terlibat untuk menghadapi Monsun Timur Laut 2022/2023 yang dijangka bermula pertengahan November depan dan berakhir pada Mac 2023.

Keberangkatan tiba Seri Paduka pada 10.25 pagi disambut Menteri Alam Sekitar dan Air Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, Menteri Kesihatan Khairy Jamaluddin dan Ketua Setiausaha Negara Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali.
Turut hadir Ketua Setiausaha Kementerian Alam Sekitar dan Air Datuk Seri Dr Zaini Ujang, Ketua Pengarah JPS Datuk Dr Md Nasir Md Noh dan Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Meteorologi Malaysia (MetMalaysia) Muhammad Helmi Abdullah.
Sembah taklimat itu dijadualkan bermula dengan keadaan cuaca dan persiapan banjir daripada JPS serta MetMalaysia seterusnya berhubung situasi terkini COVID-19 dan kesediaan Kementerian Kesihatan menghadapi banjir oleh Khairy.
Selepas sesi tersebut, Al-Sultan Abdullah dijadual melawat Pusat Kawalan PRABN di sini.–AlHijrah Online
