JKN SABAH LAPOR POLIS, NAFI RAMPAS BAYI DI HOSPITAL
Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri (JKN) Sabah hari ini membuat laporan polis bagi menafikan dakwaan kononnya berlaku kes ‘merampas bayi’ di hospital di negeri ini seperti dilaporkan dalam sebuah portal media.
KOTA KINABALU: Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri (JKN) Sabah hari ini membuat laporan polis bagi menafikan dakwaan kononnya berlaku kes ‘merampas bayi’ di hospital di negeri ini seperti dilaporkan dalam sebuah portal media.
Pengarah Kesihatan Negeri Sabah Dr Asits Sanna berkata pihaknya telah menjalankan siasatan segera susulan laporan portal itu semalam (15 Sept) bertajuk “Baby snatching: How stateless mums lose their infants in Sabah hospital”.
Beliau berkata pihak JKN Sabah mendapati dakwaan itu tidak benar dan tidak berlaku di mana-mana hospital Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) di Sabah, sehubungan itu laporan polis dibuat di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Lahad Datu memandangkan kes itu dikatakan berlaku di hospital daerah berkenaan.
“Pihak JKN Sabah mengambil perhatian serius berhubung dakwaan tersebut dan memberi jaminan kepada semua pelanggan di fasiliti-fasiliti JKN Sabah bahawa keselamatan dan kebajikan pelanggan adalah keutamaan jabatan.
“Setiap pesakit yang mendapat rawatan di mana-mana fasiliti kesihatan akan diberi layanan saksama berdasarkan peruntukan undang-undang dan peraturan sedia di Malaysia,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
Dr Asits berkata bagi kes bayi dan kanak-kanak yang ditinggalkan atau terabai, pihak hospital akan merujuk kepada Pegawai Pelindung Kanak-Kanak selaras dengan peruntukan di bawah Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001 (Akta 611).
Katanya JKN Sabah menjamin untuk memberi kerjasama penuh kepada pihak berkuasa berhubung kes tersebut.–AlHijrah Online
