KONFLIK PALESTIN-ISRAEL: 57 NEGARA ISLAM DIPANGGIL UNTUK MESYUARAT TERGEMPAR DI JEDDAH
KUALA LUMPUR: Raja Arab Saudi, Raja Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud memanggil mesyuarat tergempar Pertubuhan Kerjasama Islam (OIC) bagi membincangkan konflik Palestin-Israel yang semakin memburuk.
KUALA LUMPUR: Raja Arab Saudi, Raja Salman Abdulaziz Al Saud memanggil mesyuarat tergempar Pertubuhan Kerjasama Islam (OIC) bagi membincangkan konflik Palestin-Israel yang semakin memburuk.
Menerusi laman sesawang OIC, mesyuarat tergempar itu akan diadakan di Jeddah, Arab Saudi pada 18 Oktober ini.
“Melalui jemputan Kerajaan Arab Saudi yang juga Pengerusi Sidang Kemuncak Islam dan Jawatankuasa Eksekutif OIC, satu mesyuarat tergempar akan diadakan bagi mendesak dan menangani situasi ketenteraan yang semakin memuncak di Gaza dan kawasan sekitarnya.
“Keadaan yang semakin memburuk membahayakan nyawa orang awam serta kestabilan dan keselamatan wilayah itu,” kata OIC.
Sebelum ini menteri-menteri luar Liga Arab telah mengadakan mesyuarat luar biasa di Kaherah, Mesir, pada Rabu lalu untuk membincangkan mengenai konflik Israel-Palestin.
Mesyuarat itu untuk meneroka kaedah politik dan diplomatik yang boleh dilaksanakan oleh negara-negara Arab dan masyarakat global dalam menangani konflik berkenaan. – AlHijrah Online
