KUALA LUMPUR: Sebuah taska di Taman Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur diarahkan tutup susulan kes kematian bayi lelaki berusia tujuh bulan pada Isnin lepas.
Ketua Pengarah Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM) Datuk Che Murad Sayang Ramjan ketika dihubungi berkata taska berkenaan diarah menghentikan operasi sehingga siasatan selesai dijalankan.
Semalam, semakan JKM terhadap taska di Taman Danau Kota yang terbabit dengan kejadian seorang bayi lelaki berusia tujuh bulan ditemukan tidak sedarkan diri adalah berdaftar.
Sementara itu, Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Wangsa Maju Supt Syahrul Anuar Abdul Wahab berkata tiada tangkapan dibuat berhubung kes berkenaan.
“Beberapa saksi yang dikenal pasti sudah diambil keterangan bagi membantu siasatan, termasuk pemilik taska, pengasuh, ibu bapa bayi berkenaan serta pihak JKM.
“Siasatan kes itu sedang dijalankan Bahagian Seksual, Wanita dan Kanak-kanak (D11) Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen (IPK) Kuala Lumpur dalam semua aspek termasuk unsur kecuaian,” katanya dalam sidang media di Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah (IPD) Wangsa Maju, di sini hari ini.
Semalam, media melaporkan kematian bayi lelaki berusia tujuh bulan itu disahkan akibat tersedak susu dan kes disiasat mengikut Seksyen 31(1) Akta Kanak-Kanak 2001. —AlHijrah Online
