Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) menahan tiga individu termasuk dua pegawai Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam (MBSA) dipercayai berhubung projek kerajaan negeri.

Pengarah Kanan Bahagian Siasatan SPRM Datuk Seri Hishamuddin Hashim ketika dihubungi berkata satu lagi individu yang ditahan ialah seorang kontraktor.
Sementara itu, Datuk Bandar Shah Alam Datuk Zamani Ahmad Mansor berkata pihaknya masih menunggu laporan SPRM dan tidak dapat mengesahkan sama ada penahanan itu berkait projek tebatan banjir sebagaimana dilapor sebuah portal.
Menurut Zamani, projek itu ketika ini masih di peringkat perbincangan dengan kerajaan negeri dan belum dimulakan.
Beliau juga tidak dapat memastikan sama ada SPRM membawa keluar beberapa fail dari premis berkenaan ketika serbuan dipercayai dibuat SPRM di Wisma MBSA, di sini, Isnin lepas.
“Pada ketika itu, semua pegawai kanan berada di luar menghadiri dialog bajet, ada yang kata serbuan tapi saya tak dapat mengesahkan perkara itu kerana tidak berada di sana dan tidak mendapat apa-apa maklumat daripada SPRM lagi,” katanya ketika dihubungi Bernama.–AlHijrah Online
