Peningkatan kecil kes COVID-19 dijangka berlaku beberapa minggu ini seperti dinyatakan Menteri Kesihatan Khairy Jamaluddin minggu lepas, yang ada kaitannya dengan penularan subvarian Omicron XBB di Malaysia.
KUALA LUMPUR: Kes harian baharu COVID-19 untuk enam hari lepas (Rangkuman Mingguan Bernama 22 Okt-27 Okt) meningkat sekitar 12 peratus kepada 13,050 dengan angka tertinggi dicatat semalam (27 Okt) sebanyak 2,762 kes.
Daripada 2,762 kes itu, lapan (8) adalah kes import dan lima (5) daripadanya dikesan di Melaka dan masing-masing satu (1) di Negeri Sembilan, Perak dan Sarawak .
Ini berbanding 11,674 kes harian baharu COVID-19 untuk tempoh yang sama, 15 Okt hingga 20 Okt lepas. Kumulatif kes COVID-19 di Malaysia kini sebanyak 4,890,437.
Peningkatan kecil kes baharu COVID-19 dijangka berlaku untuk beberapa minggu ini seperti yang dinyatakan oleh Menteri Kesihatan Khairy Jamaluddin minggu lepas, yang ada kaitannya dengan penularan subvarian Omicron XBB di Malaysia.
Setakat ini, untuk bulan Oktober 2022, kes harian baharu melepasi angka 2,000 sebanyak 10 hari iaitu pada 13 Okt (2,090), 14 Okt (2,231), 15 Okt (2,023), 19 Okt ( 2,295), 20 Okt (2,561), 21 Okt(2.256), 22 Okt (2,618), 23 Okt (2,054), 26 Okt (2,136) dan 27 Okt(2,762).
Kali terakhir angka kes harian baharu negara melepasi angka 2,000 ialah pada 30 Sept 2022 sebanyak 2,007 kes.
Kes terendah untuk bulan Oktober 2022 adalah pada 17 Oktober iaitu 1,210 kes.-AlHijrah Online
