MELAKA: Melaka bakal menguatkuasakan semula pemakaian pelitup muka di tempat awam jika berlaku peningkatan mendadak kes COVID-19.
Exco Kesihatan dan Anti Dadah Melaka Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh berkata, pihaknya memandang serius peningkatan kes selain memantau secara dekat perkembangan COVID-19 dalam tempoh dua minggu ini.
“Jika penularan kes meningkat naik, kita tidak akan teragak-agak untuk menguatkuasakan semula undang-undang pemakaian pelitup muka di tempat tertutup dan di kawasan orang ramai,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
Menurutnya, orang ramai termasuk diminta untuk memakai pelitup muka terutama di tempat orang ramai dan tertutup susulan perkembangan COVID-19 terkini.
Muhammad Akmal turut mengingatkan orang ramai untuk mendapatkan vaksin dos penggalak dengan segera demi perlindungan diri.
