ISMAIL SABRI BERI KETERANGAN DI SPRM ESOK – AZAM BAKI
KUALA LUMPUR: Bekas Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob akan hadir ke Ibu Pejabat Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) esok bagi membantu siasatan kes rasuah dan pengubahan wang haram membabitkan dirinya.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bekas Perdana Menteri Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob akan hadir ke Ibu Pejabat Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) esok bagi membantu siasatan kes rasuah dan pengubahan wang haram membabitkan dirinya.
Ketua Pesuruhjaya SPRM Tan Sri Azam Baki berkata Ahli Parlimen Bera itu dijangka hadir pada 10.30 pagi di Ibu Pejabat SPRM, Putrajaya.
“Kita akan mengambil keterangan beliau bagi meneruskan siasatan,” katanya ketika dihubungi di sini hari ini, dan menambah kes disiasat mengikut Akta SPRM 2009 dan Akta Pencegahan Pengubahan Wang Haram, Pencegahan Pembiayaan Keganasan dan Hasil daripada Aktiviti Haram 2001.
Pada 10 Feb lepas, Ismail Sabri telah menghantar maklumat pengisytiharan harta sebelum keterangannya direkodkan pada 19 Feb.
Semalam, Azam dilaporkan berkata bekas pemimpin itu merupakan suspek bagi siasatan kes rasuah serta pengubahan wang haram susulan penemuan wang tunai kira-kira RM170 juta di dalam sebuah safehouse susulan serbuan dilakukan pihaknya.
Fokus siasatan tertumpu kepada perbelanjaan dan perolehan dana bagi tujuan promosi serta publisiti semasa beliau menerajui negara.
Setakat ini, SPRM telah merakam percakapan 31 individu serta membekukan 13 akaun bank bernilai kira-kira RM2 juta dengan kesemua akaun adalah sah dan aktif.
SPRM sebelum ini telah menyita wang tunai kira-kira RM170 juta dalam pelbagai mata wang antarabangsa antaranya Baht, Riyal, Pound Sterling, Won, Euro, Swiss Franc dan Yuan, serta 16 kilogram jongkong emas tulen yang dianggarkan bernilai hampir RM7 juta. — AlHijrah Online
