KERAJAAN JAMIN BAWA PULANG 63 RAKYAT MALAYSIA YANG TERKANDAS DI ARAB SAUDI

TAIPING: Kerajaan memberi jaminan 63 rakyat Malaysia yang terkandas di Arab Saudi sejak Jun lepas akan dibawa pulang ke tanah air dalam masa terdekat, kata Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) Datuk Idris Ahmad.
Bercakap kepada pemberita selepas menghadiri Program Santai Anak Muda di sini hari ini, beliau berkata usaha sedang dijalankan dengan pihak Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Jeddah untuk menyelaras urusan penghantaran pulang mereka.
Pada Jumaat, Kementerian Luar Negeri mengesahkan 63 rakyat Malaysia terdiri daripada 28 individu dewasa dan 35 kanak-kanak terkandas di Arab Saudi sejak Jun lepas.
Mereka dibawa ke Madinah oleh Kumpulan Tarekat Naqsyabandiyah Al-Kholidiah untuk mengerjakan umrah pada Mac lepas namun terkandas di Madinah sehingga hari ini dan tidak dibawa ke Makkah untuk menyempurnakan ibadah itu.
Mengenai tindakan yang bakal diambil ke atas pemimpin kumpulan itu, Habib Shah Firdaus Habib Ahmad, berhubung ajaran tarekat yang dibawanya, Idris berkata ia tertakluk di bawah kuasa Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri selepas Jawatankuasa Fatwa bersidang. – AlHijrah Online
