LEBIH 100 PELANGGAN KERACUNAN MAKANAN SELEPAS MAKAN DI RESTORAN DEKAT PENGKALAN CHEPA
KOTA BHARU: Seramai 108 orang dikesan mengalami keracunan makanan termasuk sembilan yang masih menerima rawatan di Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II di sini selepas makan dan minum di sebuah restoran dekat Pengkalan Chepa di sini sejak 18 Okt lepas.
KOTA BHARU: Seramai 108 orang dikesan mengalami keracunan makanan termasuk sembilan yang masih menerima rawatan di Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab II di sini selepas makan dan minum di sebuah restoran dekat Pengkalan Chepa di sini sejak 18 Okt lepas.
Pengarah Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Kelantan (JKNK) Datuk Dr Zaini Hussin berkata laporan berkaitan kejadian itu diterima oleh Pejabat Kesihatan Daerah (PKD) Kota Bharu daripada klinik swasta dan hospital kerajaan yang merawat pesakit terbabit.
“Kesemua pesakit itu dikesan mengalami gejala seperti cirit-birit, sakit perut, demam, pening serta muntah dan dilaporkan dalam keadaan stabil.
“Siasatan awal mendapati kesemua mereka mempunyai sejarah memakan ayam tanduri di restoran berkenaan pada 17 Okt lepas namun siasatan lanjut masih dijalankan,” katanya.
Mengulas lanjut, Dr Zaini berkata pemeriksaan ke atas premis makanan itu telah dijalankan pada 19 Okt dan diarah tutup di bawah Seksyen 18 (1), Akta Pencegahan dan Pengawalan Penyakit 1988 (Akta 342).
“Aktiviti pensampelan telah dijalankan dengan 16 sampel diambil iaitu sampel klinikal pesakit dan sampel pengendali makanan, makanan, air serta persekitaran.
“Kejadian keracunan makanan di premis itu merupakan kejadian berulang apabila episod pertama berlaku pada Januari lepas,” katanya. — AlHijrah Online
