KUALA LUMPUR: Seorang lelaki maut selepas dilanggar komuter di landasan Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB) dekat Seputeh di sini, semalam.
Ketua Polis Daerah Brickfields, Asisten Komisioner Amihizam Abdul Shukor berkata, pihaknya menerima laporan pada jam 1.08 tengah hari.
Katanya, siasatan polis di tempat kejadian mendapati mangsa dipercayai sedang berbaring di landasan kereta api berkenaan sebelum dirempuh komuter dalam perjalanan dari Stesen Seputeh ke Stesen Salak Selatan.
“Pemeriksaan awal mendapati tiada kesan suntikan Bacillus Calmette-gurin (BCG) dan tiada sebarang dokumen pengenalan milik mangsa ditemui di tempat kejadian.”
“Mangsa tidak dapat dipastikan bangsanya, berambut pendek serta berbaju dan berseluar berwarna hitam,” katanya dalam kenyataan, hari ini.
Ujarnya, mayat mangsa kemudian dihantar ke Pusat Perubatan Universiti Malaya (PPUM) untuk dibedah siasat dan kes diklasifikasikan sebagai mati mengejut (SDR).
Sementara itu, katanya polis meminta mereka yang mempunyai maklumat atau kehilangan ahli keluarga untuk menghubungi IPD Brickfields di talian 03-22979222 bagi membantu pengecaman mayat.
Beliau turut menasihatkan masyarakat supaya tidak melintas landasan kereta api, sebaliknya menggunakan laluan pejalan kaki yang ditetapkan. –AlHijrah Online
