MASHAF AL-QURAN BRAILLE BANTU OKU PENGLIHATAN BACA KITAB SUCI
Mashaf Al-Quran Braille Malaysia (MQBM) diterbitkan untuk kemudahan Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) penglihatan beragama Islam membaca kitab suci yang menepati ilmu tanda (dhabt) dan kaedah penulisan (rasm) Mashaf Al-Quran Rasm Uthmani.
PUTRAJAYA: Mashaf Al-Quran Braille Malaysia (MQBM) diterbitkan untuk kemudahan Orang Kurang Upaya (OKU) penglihatan beragama Islam membaca kitab suci yang menepati ilmu tanda (dhabt) dan kaedah penulisan (rasm) Mashaf Al-Quran Rasm Uthmani.
Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) Datuk Idris Ahmad berkata MQBM adalah berbeza daripada al-Quran Braille versi lama yang tidak menepati Mashaf Al-Quran Rasm Uthmani dengan perbezaan itu terdapat pada penandaan waqaf (tanda berhenti) dan peralihan juzuk.
“KDN (Kementerian Dalam Negeri) telah meluluskan perakuan betul pruf akhir teks MQBM berdasarkan Akta Percetakan Al-Quran 1986 pada 9 April 2021,” katanya pada sidang media selepas melancarkan MQBM Peringkat Kebangsaan 2022 di sini hari ini.

Idris berkata penerbitan MQBM itu merupakan kerjasama antara Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) dengan Persatuan Orang-Orang Cacat Penglihatan Malaysia (Pertis).
Idris berkata hak percetakan MQBM diberikan kepada Pertis bagi menerbitkan 1,000 naskah pertama mushaf tersebut untuk diedarkan secara percuma kepada golongan OKU penglihatan di seluruh negara.
Ketika ini, Unit Penerbitan Pertis di Brickfield di ibu negara mempunyai 15 mesin cetak tulisan Braille, katanya.–AlHijrah Online
