KANGAR: Perlis akan menguatkuasakan peraturan menutup sementara operasi perniagaan pasar malam ketika waktu maghrib bermula pada 15 Sept.
Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan Perlis Asrul Aimran Abd Jalil berkata pelaksanaan di bawah program ‘Berhenti Dulu Kita Solat’ yang dipersetujui dalam Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri Perlis pada 21 Ogos lepas itu sebagai antara inisiatif memperkasakan kempen Hayya Ala-Solah.
Beliau berkata sebahagian kecil peniaga bukan Islam turut digalakkan menutup perniagaan sepanjang tempoh berkenaan namun tiada sebarang halangan jika mahu meneruskan perniagaan.
“Program ini akan berkuat kuasa di semua tapak pasar malam di bawah kendalian pihak berkuasa tempatan (PBT) atau swasta di seluruh negeri ini.
“Tempoh pelaksanaan program bermula 10 minit sebelum dan 10 minit selepas waktu solat maghrib bagi membolehkan para peniaga dan pengunjung menunaikan solat dalam keadaan selesa dan tidak tergesa-gesa,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
Asrul Aimran berkata buat permulaan sebagai langkah mendidik masyarakat, anggota penguat kuasa PBT akan turun padang bagi memastikan kejayaan program itu dengan memberikan nasihat dan teguran.
“Inisiatif ini juga bertujuan menggalakkan pengunjung beragama Islam supaya tidak membeli-belah ketika waktu solat maghrib selain mendidik rakyat menunaikan solat pada awal waktu dan tidak melengah-lengahkan solat,” katanya. — AlHijrah Online
