RAMADAN TIBA, UMAT ISLAM MALAYSIA BERPUASA MULAI AHAD
Syed Danial berkata tarikh permulaan puasa bagi negeri-negeri di seluruh Malaysia ditetapkan pada hari Ahad menurut perintah Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah setelah diperkenan oleh Duli-Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja-Raja.

KUALA LUMPUR: Umat Islam di Malaysia akan mula berpuasa mulai Ahad (3 April), demikian diumumkan oleh Penyimpan Mohor Besar Raja-Raja Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad.
Syed Danial berkata tarikh permulaan puasa bagi negeri-negeri di seluruh Malaysia ditetapkan pada hari Ahad menurut perintah Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah setelah diperkenan oleh Duli-Duli Yang Maha Mulia Raja-Raja.
Pengumuman itu disiarkan secara langsung menerusi Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) malam ini.
Sebelum ini, Pejabat Penyimpan Mohor Besar Raja-Raja menerusi satu kenyataan menetapkan tarikh melihat anak bulan Ramadan bagi menentukan permulaan puasa untuk umat Islam di Malaysia ialah hari ini (Jumaat) bersamaan 29 Syaaban 1443 Hijrah.
Pejabat Penyimpan Mohor Besar Raja-Raja dalam kenyataan itu turut menyatakan proses melihat anak bulan Ramadan berlangsung di 29 lokasi seluruh negara antaranya di Pontian Kecil, Johor dan Kompleks Falak Al-Khawarizmi Kampung Balik Batu, Tanjung Bidara, Melaka.
Setelah dua tahun umat Islam di negara ini menyambut Ramadan dalam keadaan Malaysia masih berdepan dengan pandemik COVID-19, kali ini ia akan disambut dalam Fasa Peralihan ke Endemik yang bermula 1 April. —AlHijrah Online
