KUALA LUMPUR: Penyaluran Bantuan Awal Persekolahan (BAP) sebanyak RM150 bagi setiap murid perlu dilakukan tanpa sebarang bentuk pemotongan, menurut Kementerian Pendidikan (KPM).
KPM dalam satu kenyataan memaklumkan prihatin terhadap beberapa aduan yang diterima berkaitan penyaluran peruntukan BAP kepada murid.
Menurut kementerian itu, pihak sekolah perlu mematuhi semua garis panduan berkaitan pelaksanaan BAP kepada murid.
“BAP bernilai RM150 bagi setiap murid dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meringankan beban perbelanjaan persekolahan pada awal tahun yang ditanggung oleh ibu bapa atau penjaga,” menurut kenyataan itu.
KPM memaklumkan penyaluran BAP dilakukan melalui sekolah secara kredit ke akaun murid atau secara tunai.
Sebarang pertanyaan atau aduan mengenai penyaluran BAP boleh dibuat menerusi Sistem Pengurusan Aduan Awam (SISPAA) KPM.
Media baru-baru ini melaporkan mengenai perkongsian menerusi laman X yang mendakwa pihak ibu bapa hanya mendapat RM50 daripada keseluruhan RM150 yang diperuntukkan bagi BAP.
KPM sebelum ini mengumumkan kerajaan memperuntukkan RM788.13 juta menerusi Belanjawan 2024 khusus untuk tujuan BAP yang akan memberi manfaat kepada lebih 5.25 juta murid.–AlHijrah Online
