PUTRAJAYA: Jabatan Perdana Menteri (Hal Ehwal Agama) menasihati mana-mana pihak yang berada di Tanah Suci untuk pulang ke Tanah Air sekiranya tidak mempunyai visa haji yang sah.
Merujuk laporan media berhubung jemaah haji yang terkandas di Makkah akibat terpedaya dengan pakej haji menggunakan visa pelancong , Datuk Dr. Mohd Na’im Mokhtar dalam satu kenyataan berkata, Tabung Haji tidak menerima laporan rasmi lagi berhubung kes berkenaan.
“Setakat ini, tiada laporan rasmi lagi perkara berkaitan diterima oleh Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH). Sehubungan itu, para jemaah haji yang merasakan mereka terpedaya dengan janji untuk menunaikan haji perlu membuat aduan kepada TH, Konsulat Jeneral Malaysia di Jeddah, Arab Saudi atau Kementerian Pelancongan, Seni dan Budaya (MOTAC) untuk siasatan lebih lanjut”.
Tabung Haji dalam pada itu mengingatkan mana-mana individu atau agensi pelancongan yang menawarkan perkhidmatan pakej haji tanpa kelulusan daripada TH adalah satu kesalahan dan boleh dikenakan tindakan undang-undang di bawah Akta Tabung Haji 1995 (Akta 535).
Pihaknya dalam pada itu sentiasa memberi peringatan saban tahun kepada umat Islam supaya lebih berhati-hati dengan sebarang tawaran pakej murah yang ditawarkan segelintir agensi pelancongan yang tidak dilesenkan oleh TH -Alhijrah Online
