MAYAT ANGGOTA TENTERA HILANG DITEMUKAN DI HUTAN SIMPAN BELUM
IPOH: Polis hari ini menjumpai mayat dipercayai anggota tentera daripada Batalion ke-25 Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (RAMD) Kem Sri Bentong, Pahang yang hilang ketika menjalankan tugas operasi di kawasan pedalaman Hutan Simpan Belum, dekat Gerik, Jumaat lepas.

IPOH: Polis hari ini menjumpai mayat dipercayai anggota tentera daripada Batalion ke-25 Rejimen Askar Melayu Diraja (RAMD) Kem Sri Bentong, Pahang yang hilang ketika menjalankan tugas operasi di kawasan pedalaman Hutan Simpan Belum, dekat Gerik, Jumaat lepas.
Ketua Polis Perak Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri berkata hasil operasi mencari dan menyelamat (SAR) yang dijalankan Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) sejak 7 April lepas menemukan satu mayat dipercayai anggota tentera berkenaan pada 10.15 pagi tadi.
Mohd Yusri berkata mayat terbabit dibawa ke Hospital Gerik bagi proses bedah siasat.
“PDRM (Polis Diraja Malaysia) Perak merakamkan ucapan takziah kepada ahli keluarga mangsa,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan hari ini.
Pada Isnin, Mohd Yusri dilaporkan berkata hasil siasatan awal polis mendapati kejadian kehilangan itu berlaku pada 5 petang Jumaat lepas semasa mangsa bersama lima anggota lain menjalankan operasi di kawasan penugasan berkenaan.
Sementara itu bekas Menteri Kabinet Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican turut berkongsi berita kematian Koperal Mohamamad Nasri Mohd Nasib.
Beliau turut menzahirkan ucapan takziah kepada ibu mangsa Fadzilah Bakar yang merupakan Ketua Wanita UMNO Cawangan Pengkalan Sena, Pulau Pinang. — AlHijrah Online
