PENDAKWAH BEBAS DIREMAN BANTU SIASATAN SALAH GUNA KUASA
Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) mereman dua individu termasuk seorang pendakwah bebas kerana disyaki bersubahat menyalah guna kuasa meluluskan kira-kira RM600,000 sebagai balasan bayaran mengumpul dana sebuah institusi pusat pendidikan dan dakwah, lapan tahun lepas.
ALOR SETAR: Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) mereman dua individu termasuk seorang pendakwah bebas kerana disyaki bersubahat menyalah guna kuasa meluluskan kira-kira RM600,000 sebagai balasan bayaran mengumpul dana sebuah institusi pusat pendidikan dan dakwah, lapan tahun lepas.
Perintah reman hingga esok terhadap lelaki dan wanita berusia 30-an itu dikeluarkan Majistret Noorfazlina Musa, selepas permohonan dibuat SPRM di Mahkamah Majistret Sungai Petani pagi tadi.
Menurut sumber SPRM, kedua-duanya ditahan kira-kira 1 tengah hari semalam ketika hadir memberi keterangan di pejabat SPRM Cawangan Sungai Petani.
“Siasatan awal mendapati masing-masing merupakan pengarah urusan syarikat dan ketua jabatan kewangan serta disyaki bersubahat melakukan perbuatan tersebut sekitar September 2018,” katanya hari ini.
Lelaki berkenaan dipercayai menyalahgunakan jawatannya dan bersubahat dengan suspek kedua, meluluskan bayaran kira-kira RM600,000 kepada suspek utama sebagai bayaran pengumpul dana tanpa mendapat kelulusan daripada rakan kongsi yang lain.
Difahamkan siasatan yang dijalankan SPRM Kedah dan Bahagian Pencegahan Pengubahan Wang Haram (AML) SPRM telah bermula sejak Oktober tahun lepas.
Pengarah SPRM Kedah Datuk Nazli Rasyid Sulong ketika dihubungi mengesahkan penahanan itu dan memaklumkan kes disiasat di bawah Seksyen 23 Akta SPRM 2009.–AlHijrah Online
