Ketua Pesuruhjaya SPRM Tan Sri Azam Baki berkata pihaknya kini sedang mendapatkan maklumat lanjut daripada semua pihak terlibat termasuk daripada seorang kenamaan dan Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (JIM).
KUALA LUMPUR: Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) akan menyiasat dakwaan pegawai yang menjaga pintu masuk negara meminta suapan daripada pelancong asing.
Ketua Pesuruhjaya SPRM Tan Sri Azam Baki berkata pihaknya kini sedang mendapatkan maklumat lanjut daripada semua pihak terlibat termasuk daripada seorang kenamaan dan Jabatan Imigresen Malaysia (JIM).
“SPRM akan menyiasat perkara ini sewajarnya. Orang ramai digesa tidak mensensasikan dan membuat spekulasi mengenai perkara tersebut,” katanya kepada Bernama di sini hari ini.
Sebuah portal berita kelmarin melaporkan kekecohan di Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur (KLIA) melibatkan orang kenamaan dikatakan cuba ‘menyelamatkan’ seorang wanita warga China yang dinafikan kemasukan ke negara ini sebaik tiba lapangan terbang tersebut.
Kejadian itu turut tular di media sosial apabila orang kenamaan berkenaan dikatakan masuk ke ruang balai ketibaan itu tanpa memohon pas keselamatan.
Semalam, Ketua Pengarah Imigresen Datuk Ruslin Jusoh berkata pihaknya akan menjalankan siasatan menyeluruh mengenai insiden itu merangkumi semua aspek berkaitan.–AlHijrah Online
