TURKIYE USAHA JADI PENGANTARA UNTUK TAMATKAN KONFLIK ISRAEL-PALESTIN – ERDOGAN
ANKARA: Turkiye sedang berusaha untuk menjadi pengantara bagi mencari jalan menamatkan konflik Israel-Palestin, kata Presiden Recep Tayyip Erdogan pada Selasa.

“Kami sedang ikhtiar untuk menjadi pengantara. Kami mahu membantu menamatkan perang ini secepat mungkin, memulihkan keamanan di rantau ini,” kata Erdogan pada sidang akhbar di Ankara, lapor Xinhua.
Erdogan menyeru semua pihak berpengaruh di rantau ini bersama menggalas tanggungjawab untuk mewujudkan keamanan, sambil memberi amaran bahawa menyemarakkan ketegangan, terutamanya menyasarkan orang dan penempatan awam tidak membawa kebaikan kepada sesiapa pun.
Beliau berkata sebarang tindakan yang akan meningkatkan ketegangan di rantau ini hanya akan menyebabkan lebih banyak pertumpahan darah dan menambah lagi masalah.
Pertempuran terkini di Palestin yang melibatkan Hamas, pihak berkuasa di Gaza dan rejim Israel sejak 7 Okt telah mengakibatkan kehilangan ratusan nyawa kedua-dua belah pihak. — AlHijrah Online
