UNRWA: SEKTOR KESIHATAN DI GAZA DALAM KEADAAN KRITIKAL
Agensi Bantuan dan Kerja Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu untuk Pelarian Palestin di Asia Barat (UNRWA) memberi amaran bahawa sektor kesihatan di Semenanjung Gaza berada dalam keadaan kritikal susulan serangan tentera Israel yang berterusan.
NEW YORK: Agensi Bantuan dan Kerja Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu untuk Pelarian Palestin di Asia Barat (UNRWA) memberi amaran bahawa sektor kesihatan di Semenanjung Gaza berada dalam keadaan kritikal susulan serangan tentera Israel yang berterusan, lapor Agensi Berita dan Maklumat Palestin (WAFA).
Dalam satu kenyataan yang dikeluarkan pada Rabu, UNRWA memaklumkan bahawa 45 peratus bekalan perubatan penting telah kehabisan stok dan hampir satu perempat daripada bekalan selebihnya dijangka habis dalam tempoh enam minggu akan datang sekiranya keadaan terus berlarutan.
Agensi itu turut menyatakan bahawa stok ubat-ubatan penting dan produk darah hampir habis manakala keperluan di lapangan kekal mendesak dan terus meningkat.
Sejak 2 Mac, tentera Israel terus menutup semua pintu sempadan Gaza, menghalang kemasukan makanan, bantuan kemanusiaan, bekalan perubatan dan barangan komersial.
