KUANTAN: Situasi banjir di Pahang menunjukkan perkembangan positif apabila jumlah mangsa semakin berkurangan susulan banjir di daerah Raub pulih sepenuhnya selepas penutupan pusat pemindahan sementara (PPS) pagi tadi.
Menurut Sekretariat Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bencana Daerah (JPBD) Raub, seramai empat mangsa daripada satu keluarga yang ditempatkan di PPS Balairaya Kampung Tersang sejak 11.30 pagi semalam telah dibenarkan pulang ke kediaman masing-masing sekitar pukul 8 pagi tadi.
Sementara itu, di daerah Lipis, seramai 89 mangsa daripada 28 keluarga masih berada di dua PPS setakat 11.30 pagi ini, menurut portal Info Bencana Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat (JKM). Mereka ditempatkan di Masjid Kampung Beletik dan Sekolah Kebangsaan Lubuk Kulit.
Semakan di portal Public Info Banjir Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran (JPS) pula mendapati empat sungai di negeri ini berada dalam keadaan waspada, iaitu Sungai Pahang di Kuala Krau, Temerloh; Sungai Kuantan di Kuantan Bypass, Kuantan; Sungai Dong di Kampung Peruas, Raub; serta Sungai Jelai di Jeti Lipis, Lipis. —AlHijrah Online
