HUJAN LEBAT, RIBUT PETIR DIJANGKA BERLAKU DI LEMBAH KLANG SEHINGGA MALAM INI
Hujan lebat, ribut petir berserta angin kencang diramal berlaku di beberapa negeri antaranya Selangor, Kuala Lumpur dan Putrajaya, sehingga jam 9 malam ini.
KUALA LUMPUR: Hujan lebat, ribut petir berserta angin kencang diramal berlaku di beberapa negeri antaranya Selangor, Kuala Lumpur dan Putrajaya, sehingga jam 9 malam ini.
Turut diramal cuaca yang sama di Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Sarawak, Pahang, Kelantan, Perak, Kedah serta Pulau Pinang.
Amaran tersebut dikeluarkan Jabatan Meterologi (METMalaysia) menerusi kenyataan di Facebook, hari ini.
Selain daripada Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Putrajaya dan Kuala Lumpur, antara kawasan di Selangor yang terlibat adalah Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat dan Sepang.
Untuk Kedah, kawasan yang terlibat merupakan Yan, Kuala Muda, Kulim dan Bandar Baharu; Pulau Pinang (Seberang Perai Utara, Seberang Perai Tengah dan Seberang Perai Selatan); serta Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang Dan Selama, Hulu Perak dan Kuala Kangsar).
Bagi Kelantan, kawasan terlibat hanya Gua Musang manakala kawasan di Pahang adalah Bentong, Temerloh, Maran dan Bera.
“Bagi Sarawak, turut diramal di Kapit (Song dan Bukit Mabong), Miri (Beluru, Telang Usan dan Marudi) dan Limbang,” dalam kenyataannya.
METMalaysia berkata, amaran dikeluarkan apabila ada tanda-tanda menunjukkan ribut petir dengan intensiti hujan melebihi 20 mililiter (mm) setiap sejam yang hampir atau dijangka berlaku melebihi sejam.
Katanya, amaran ribut petir adalah amaran jangka pendek yang sah dalam tempoh tidak melebihi enam jam untuk satu-satu keluaran.–AlHijrah Online
